  • Tracy Leffingwell

    Tracy is an experienced educator who began her career as a Spanish language teacher in Boulder Valley School District before transitioning to the nonprofit sector. She spent nine years with the “I Have A Dream” Foundation, serving as both a Program Director and later a Senior Director.

    With deep roots in Boulder County, Tracy is committed to the well-being of the community and believes in the strength, dignity, and potential of every person.

    Tracy is the co-founder, President, and CEO of the Leffingwell Foundation, a 501(c)(3) operating foundation that partners with community-based organizations to support essential resources and develop thoughtfully curated children’s book collections that reflect and celebrate the communities they serve.

  • Dean Leffingwell

    Dean is recognized as one of the world’s foremost authorities on Lean-Agile software development. He is the creator of SAFe, an author, executive, entrepreneur, and methodologist. Alongside SAFe, his best-selling books have shaped modern thinking on Lean-Agile values, principles, and practices. He has founded several successful startups, including RELA, Inc., Requisite, Inc., and Scaled Agile, Inc.

    Dean is a dedicated philanthropist and a co-founder of the Leffingwell Foundation, reflecting a long-standing commitment to giving back and investing in the community. Through the Foundation, he supports partnerships that expand access to essential resources and opportunities.

  • Rebecca Leffingwell

    Rebecca is a philanthropist deeply committed to strengthening democracy and its institutions. She supports efforts that advance equal rights, justice, and opportunity for all—across race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic background.

    She believes in the importance of freedom of speech, assembly, and the press, and actively supports organizations working to protect these essential rights and uphold democratic values.

    Her philanthropic work includes co-founding the Leffingwell Foundation, where she helps advance access to the essential resources people need to thrive, along with the creation of intentionally curated book collections.
