The Leffingwell Foundation is a 501c3 Operating Foundation in Boulder County, Colorado.

Our mission is to support thriving communities by helping families access essential resources and by expanding access to books.

We do this in two ways:

Essential Needs: We provide grants to nonprofit organizations that connect individuals and families to essential resources such as food, housing, employment, and other basic supports.

Building Libraries: We partner with community organizations to create curated children’s libraries that expand access to books and joyful reading. Collections are thoughtfully selected to reflect the cultures and experiences of the communities they serve and to support literacy development and social-emotional growth.
