We envision a world where every individual's strengths are recognized, their potential is nurtured, and their basic needs are met.

The Leffingwell Foundation is a 501c3 Operating Foundation in Boulder County, Colorado.

Primary mission: To support individuals experiencing income inequality in Boulder and surrounding counties by increasing access to food, housing, education, employment, and other basic needs. Organizations addressing these inequities can apply for grants through the Leffingwell Foundation.

Secondary mission: To provide foundational literacy tutoring and coaching to families and programs in Boulder County (free of charge to qualifying individuals).

For youth in PK-5th grade, the Leffingwell Foundation can offer literacy screening and tutoring.

For adults 17+ in Boulder County, the Leffingwell Foundation can provide English foundational literacy tutoring as well as education and resource navigation.

For programs in Boulder County, the Leffingwell Foundation can offer curriculum coaching, teacher training, and community presentations.

Tertiary mission: To be able to respond to emerging local or global humanitarian crises and special charitable funding requests.
